Our team is excited to share a sneak peak of the @ywcaregina Centre for Women and Families! Currently under construction, the centre is scheduled to open its doors in fall of 2024. Designed with openness and transparency at its core, the Centre will provide a secure, welcoming, and dignified space for users. This is achieved through the use of organic forms, natural materials, and a high standard for accessibility, both within the building and throughout the site.
Serving as a ‘hub’ for numerous services for women and families, the multi-use facility will include: residences, a crisis shelter, YWCA Outreach services, Mobile Crisis, YWCA child care, and multi-purpose spaces for health and financial services, rentable areas, as well as a community café and consignment store. In partnership with @allnationshope, the facility will also include a sacred gathering space and sweat lodge on site.
