Bob Croft
Architect | Managing Partner
Principal Architect and Managing Director with 1080, Bob provides project leadership in LEAN informed space programming and LEAN design, as well guidance to the practice as Managing Partner. His 36 years as a licensed architect provides Bob with a depth of experience on a wide range of complex building planning and design projects. Bob’s diverse portfolio includes master planning, space programming, design, and project management for a range of specialized facilities. He also provides added value in modeling space to align with business strategies. Outside of architecture, Bob is passionate about his family, painting, and developing his yoga teaching skills.

LeeAnn Croft
Architect | Principal
Architect and Design Studio Principal with 1080, LeeAnn has a passion for making beautiful, functional spaces for people to live, work and learn in. A graduate of McGill University, LeeAnn has worked in Montreal, New York and Regina since 2003. She is experienced in health care, hospitality, education, retail, multi-family residential, and commercial design, and has been the recipient of two Premier’s Design Awards as well as a national ICSC award for retail design among others. Outside of the office, LeeAnn prioritizes family time, travel, fitness, the arts in general, and is fueled by an appreciation for really good coffee. She is actively engaged in both the local and architectural community as a board member with the Globe Theatre and as Regional Coordinator for the RAIC Syllabus program. Inspired by the passion and commitment her clients bring to their work, she is proud to be part of building their vision and success.

Ward Peters
Architectural Technologist | Principal
Ward has been involved in the construction industry since 1989, having joined the firm upon completion of his schooling at N.A.I.T. He has worked on project types that include institutional, educational, and commercial buildings as well as multi-unit residential apartment and condominium projects. Ward has many years of experience in the production of construction drawings, writing of specifications, contract administration, and project management coordination of consulting teams. He has been involved in projects from the design stage to completion of construction. When Ward isn't at the office, he enjoys playing guitar, playing with his family, or playing in the yard on his garden tractor.

Donn Lay
Architectural Technologist | Principal
Donn has a background in contract documentation and site administration. His project experience includes tenant improvements, schools, warehouses, medical clinics, secure facilities, and offices. Donn has a knack for working with people and creating a team atmosphere. He quickly deals with any issues that arise and is very thorough in keeping all personnel abreast of all aspects of the project schedule. Donn assists in the design stage and oversees the construction documentation process. He conducts site meetings, inspections and deals with all aspects of contract administration. In his spare time, Donn enjoys competing in trail ultra marathons, which he trains for by mountain biking and running in and around the city.

Brad Pegg
Architectural Technologist | Principal
Brad has a comprehensive background in CAD architectural drafting, computer modelling and rendering, topographical, cartological and G.I.S drafting. With over 25 years’ experience, Brad’s extensive CAD drafting and 3D modelling skills lend invaluable technical support to the design team. Brad is passionate about cycling or walking to work, regardless of the weather or distance. In his spare time, Brad can be found spending time in the garage working on various projects or his trucks and car.

Vanessa Keilback
Senior Associate | Architect
Vanessa has built a reputation for delivering quality projects with exceptional service on projects ranging from commercial/retail, office, multi-family residential, industrial, and educational. With a strong technical background, Vanessa combines her passion for design with a pragmatic methodology for projects and is known for her positive approach and unwavering commitment to the project. Her goal is architecture that is functional, beautiful, and sustainable, reflective of the client’s vision, and is a positive addition to the community.
Vanessa’s passion for community involvement can be seen through her term as Vice Chair of her Community Association and her current participation on the PBS Beautification Committee. She also volunteers for numerous sports and activities and enjoys playing ball, ringette and practicing jiu jitsu

Nathan Orban
Senior Associate | Architect
Architect and Senior Associate with 1080, Nathan brings a keen interest in design excellence and place-based architecture to every project, and embraces working closely with clients and project stakeholders through a participatory design process. A graduate of Dalhousie University, Nathan believes architecture should project the identity of the patrons who commission them and enhance the environment and context in which they are located. His strong design and technical skills have been applied to a variety of regional projects that have led to architecture that is economical, durable and sustainable.
Outside of the office Nathan enjoys golfing, cooking and carpentry.

Kali Sawcyn
Accounts Manager
As Accounts Manager, Kali handles accounting, invoicing, payroll, and anything to do with office management. Kali is well versed in contract documents, contract administration, and is the go-to person when questions arise, never hesitating to lend a helping hand. In her spare time, Kali enjoys watching films and performances with her friends, taking walks with her dog, and reading many, many books.

Megan Florizone
Architect
Megan is an outstanding designer who excels at creating unique places and spaces dedicated to people. Having graduated from Dalhousie University and gaining work experience in Vancouver, Nova Scotia, England, and Norway, she brings with her a wide spectrum of design, adaptation, and building experience with focus in education and recreation facility design. In her spare time Megan is active in sports and is an avid outdoor enthusiast. When she isn’t on her feet, she can be found in her wood and metal shop where she designs and builds furniture as a secondary creative outlet.

Laura Goodsman
Interior Designer
Laura brings a fresh perspective to design with her strong space planning and organizational skills. Along with her Bachelor of Interior Design, Laura is also a Certified Office Ergonomics Evaluator and has a certificate in Project Management. She is not afraid to challenge the status quo and brings a creative yet functional approach to every project. Since entering the design industry in 2015, Laura has continued to seek opportunities to learn and grow and loves the unique challenge each project provides. With experience in retail, office and government design, Laura has a strong understanding of the human experience in design and believes that all spaces should be beautiful and functional. Her communication skills and passion for design make her a great asset to any project.

Lacey Venne
Architectural Technologist
Lacey began here career with 1080 when she completed her Architectural Program at SIAST in 2008. Lacey's technical skills make her a vital team member on the multitude of project types that 1080 is involved with particular expertise with education and industrial projects. Her role involves consultant coordination, the production of contract documents, as well as contract administration. Lacey is very proficient in use of AutoCAD for Architectural Drafting and REVIT. When Lacey isn't busy working, she enjoys travelling, the culinary arts, and bringing delicious baking for the 1080 team.

Weston Dennis
Architectural Technologist
Weston has worked on a variety of project types including school renovations, restaurants, and high-rise student housing. In addition to producing working drawings and specifications, Weston is involved in site inspections, site meetings, and consultant coordination. Weston has been instrumental in implementing the Revit Architecture software in the office, and has coordinated the software side of both small and large scale Revit projects with multi-discipline design teams. In his spare time, Weston can be found riding his motorcycle around southern Saskatchewan. During the winter, he can be found at home with a good book, waiting for the next riding season to begin.

Andrea Clayton
Architectural Technologist
Andrea has over 11 years of experience as an architectural technologist working on a wide range of projects through-out Saskatchewan. These projects include correctional, government, commercial, heritage, recreation and sport complexes, retail, and education projects. Her technologist training along with experience in architectural design and project management, give her the ability to adapt to any position within a project team. Andrea extends her passion for architecture into the community by running the provincial skills competition for architectural technology and being on the technical committee for the national competition. Volunteer activity and giving back to the community is very important to Andrea.

Tayler LaBelle
Architectural Technologist
Tayler obtained his Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba in 2010, and went on to complete his diploma in Architectural Technologies (Interior Design) at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Moose Jaw Campus in 2015. Tayler joined the firm full time in 2015, where he has gained experience in a variety of projects within the education, commercial and healthcare sectors. An active Syllabus student, Tayler's long-term goal is to become a registered Architect. When he isn't working, he enjoys volunteering with the Archdiocese of Regina, road-trips, and playing table-top boardgames.

Branden Thomas
Architectural Technologist
Branden completed the Architectural and Building Technologies diploma course at the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Moose Jaw Campus. Branden’s career began in the residential industry before he shifted focus to commercial architecture. His primary project concentrations are in the civic, industrial, and healthcare sectors. When Branden isn’t enjoying the hustle of work, he loves to travel. His passion for architecture can be seen through the numerous photos he has taken from many countries. He also loves to volunteer his free time to those in need, which he has done both overseas and locally.

Seanna Thomas

Makenzie Costabile
Programming + Lean Consultant
Makenzie earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of McGill, majoring in Geography with a concentration in spatial and demographic analysis. She has considerable experience working with government, health care, and education projects, both operational and in development. She provides thorough, detailed, and thoughtful support to carry projects to completion, and is furthering her studies in the RAIC Syllabus program. Outside of 1080, Makenzie is passionate about motivating others to live their best lives as a BodyPump group fitness instructor.

Briana Bolduc
Marketing Coordinator
With a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Marketing from the University of Regina, Briana is our marketing and administrative guru. Although she is new to architecture, Briana brings a background in communications and social media, and has a knack for showcasing personality in all aspects of her work. When she isn’t at work, she spends her time taking her very energetic dog for multiple walks, learning new skills, and travelling around Canada to visit family. Her passion for volunteer work shines through in her continued involvement with KidSport Regina.

Carly Vancha
Admin. Assistant | Director of First Impressions
Carly is the first face you see when you come into the office, and is essential to the overall administration of 1080. She brings a background in hospitality and marketing, and is well versed in office programs, communication, and time management. In her spare time, Carly enjoys foreign films, listening to music, hanging with her animals and writing poetry.
