Viterra engaged CITE360studio (now 1080) in 2014 to renovate their existing office space. The client then added additional scopes, including re-imagining the front entrance of their building and a full service restaurant and catering operation for Sprout Catering.

The Viterra interior design concept strikes a balance between local and global design, reflecting the position of the corporation in the global market. In addition to the corporate and executive office design, the project also included an on site gym, restaurant, laboratory and shared conference space.

1080 worked to fully understand the complex team structure and create a plan that would relocate all of Viterra’s employees from ten floors in a small tower footprint to three tower floors and three levels in the larger Heritage building. The design incorporated interior private offices with glass fronts, open office space reusing existing furniture and numerous meeting and breakout rooms including four new bookable conference rooms on the main floor for future tenants. The overall project included space planning, interior design, project management, asbestos abatement, fire alarm and security upgrades, as well as AV, security, and furniture selection.
