1080 has had the pleasure of working with the Saskatchewan Science Center on a unique exhibit design project centered on the concept of Joy. A collection of whimsical rooms designed to spark feelings of joy, the project weaves the work of Ingrid Fetell Lee and the study of the Aesthetics of Joy into an experience of curated spaces based on this body of work.

From freedom to abundance, magic to renewal, the project looks at the 12 categories in Fetell Lee’s work that evoke this feeling and creates moments for people to engage and capture a photo in the space. 1080 was involved from concept through implementation working with the SCC to design the overall experience, source materials, and translate the design to production and installation.
