 Your Role

1080 is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist who is ambitious enthusiastic and detail-oriented with excellent communications skills, and fluent in AutoCAD, Revit 2016 and Microsoft Office applications. A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and 3D Modeling skill would also be an asset.

What You Will Do

*Apply architectural concepts, building code and zoning requirements to develop architectural design documents to the satisfaction of the client(s)

*Prepare and assemble drawings sets from schematic design through to construction administration in Revit or CAD

*Ensure all work meets 1080 standards for quality

*Complete work upon agreed deadlines

*Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs

Your Qualifications

*5+ years of experience in design, construction documents, and contract administration

*Graduate of an accredited Architectural Technologist Program

*Excellent working drawings and knowledge of current versions of REVIT and AutoCAD

*Strong knowledge of building technology and assembly, construction methodology, and materials application

*Familiar with Contract Administration and Shop Drawing Review

*Ability to understand and formulate design decisions and present for discussion

*Fully versed in the National Building Code

*Have an excellent eye for detail

*Ability to work independently and with a highly collaborative team

*Exercise judgement where supervision may be minimal

*Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines

*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
